Field Data Analysis

Realfire Field Data Analysis (FDA) feature allows you to analyze the actual data records and gather statistics about fields usage. This is similar to FieldTrip managed package but without having to install the package and much more capabilities to cater to huge dataset.

To access the FDA feature, click on Main Menu -> Windows -> Show View -> Field Data Analysis

UI Layout

This feature opens as a View in the bottom panel (below the main editor). Feature consists of two panes viz., top and bottom.

Top pane shows the list of FDA jobs that have been created. Upon selecting a row in top grid, it shows the various executions for that Job in bottom grid. Double-click on any of the Runs to show the full run details including the usage stats.

Create Job and Execute

To analyze, create a new Job, specify objects/fields and click Analyze. Note that if you include all fields to be analyzed, by default it will skip Rollup/Formula/System/Boolean fields as they don't add value in terms of analysis.
