Security
With cyber world the way it is, Security should be the first feature of any product and so is of Brobench. We recognize that our customers use our products to connect to a Salesforce, which holds data of paramount importance, and hence we pay even more attention than other companies about how our features safeguard your data.
Here are some of the things you may want to know about pertaining to Brobench security. If you have any questions, please reach out at support@datasert.com
Manifest V3 Adherence
Google Chrome's Manifest V3 is a major change to the way extensions are built. The changes are aimed at improving user privacy and security. This version ensures that we include all the scripts that application requires to function and have that package reviewed by Google Chrome security review team.
Master Password
We use the master password that user sets to encrypt all other secrets like Connection password or OAuth tokens. This password is not saved to the file-system and is not transmitted out of users' computer. See Master Password for more info.
Industry Standard Encryption
We use industry standard strong encryption algorithms (AES with SHA-256) to encrypt those secrets using the Master Password.
Runs 100% Locally
Brobench runs 100% locally on your machine and connects to Datasert Licensing servers to validate your activation. Apart from that, no customer data is transmitted to Datasert servers or any third party without your explicit action. For ex., we will upload to Google Drive if you choose to export data to Google Sheets.
Data Stays Secure
The data you fetch from Salesforce or provide to Brobench for data-load or other operations is used to interact with Salesforce only and never transferred to any other unauthorized third party. Note that if you have added to a Google Connection, and choose to export the data to Google Sheets, then data will be uploaded to your Google Drive.
No Third Party Tracking
Brobench doesn't include any third party tracking scripts in the product like Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager. In the future, we will collect low-fidelity usage statistics to help understand and improve the product, but we will not collect any identifiable information or any data.
Proven Track Record of Privacy
Datasert has been in the business for more than 7 years and dealt with thousands of customers, and we have shared the data you provide to us as part of account creation, support requests and other means with any third-party.
