Manage Profile

Once you are logged into the app, you can manage your profile as follows.

Manage Profile Page

Click on the Profile Menu in the top-right corner of the app as shown below and click on the Manager Profile menu item as shown below or goto Manage Profile page

The App will show the below page with your profile information.

Edit Profile

In the Manage Profile page, click on Profile tab and click on Edit button and make necessary changes using the form shown below.

Change Password

In the Manage Profile page, click on Credentials tab. From with-in that tab, click on Change Password button.

Keep in Mind
  • You need to know your current password to change the password. If you do not know your current password, you need to reset it
  • When setting a new password, always use a strong and unique password that you have not used before. Refer to Password Guidelines for more info.

After changing the password, the system will send an email confirming that password has been updated.

Updating Email

Note that the system needs to have correct email to send Notifications and other administrative-related emails. To ensure the deliverability, we ask that user to confirm their email by following steps in Confirm Email email.

When you change email after confirming, the system will send another email to new email, and it needs to be confirmed as well.

User Preferences

Datasert Account provides few settings that can be customized on a per-user basis. These can be found in Preferences tab.

To edit preferences, click on the Edit button in the Preferences tab, make necessary changes and click Ok.

Timezone

Datasert Apps display date/time in many places. While all date/time values are stored in the storage in UTC timezone, it is very user unfriendly to view date/time in a different timezone than you live in. You can your time zone in this preference.

This is defaulted to your browser timezone at the time of you sign up for an account.

API Mode

This setting helps you set the API Mode of your account Default or Readonly. When set to Readonly, the app will not let you change any of the data in the system.

You can also change this setting easily in the Profile Menu in the top-right corner of the app.

When you are in Readonly mode, the app will show a Lock icon in the toolbar next to Profile Name as shown below. Readonly mode is useful when you are just browsing the App and want to make sure you do not make any changes by mistake.
