Manage Users
This page walks you through the process of managing users in your Datasert Appsuite account. You can add, edit, and remove users, as well as manage their roles and permissions.
When you go to Tenant Setup, Users tab is shown by default. If you have navigated to other tabs, you can click on the
Users
menu item in the top menu bar.
All available users are shown in the table as shown below.
Adding a User
To add a new user, click on the +
(Plus) icon in the Users List page. Below dialog will be shown.
Here are the details of the fields in the dialog.
Field | Description |

First/Last Name/Email | User Profile details |
Status | Indicates if user is Active/Inactive. If inactive, user will not be able to Login. |
Login Types | When you setup a SSO, user will not be able to login via Password. But you can enable Password login on case by case basis by setting the appropriate Login Types. |
Roles | List of Roles that are applicable for user. If you assign multiple roles, then all combined permissions are assigned to the user. Check out User Roles page for more info |
Editing a User
In the Users List page, click on the Pencil
(Edit) icon next to the user you want to edit. The same dialog as above
will be shown with the user details pre-filled. You can modify the details and click on Save
to update the user.
You cannot edit your own user details. You can only edit other users. If you want to change something about yourself, ask another Tenant Admin user to do it for you.
This is to ensure that users cannot lock themselves out of the account by changing their own details
