Connections

The Connections module lets you manage integrations in Brobench, including Salesforce and external services like Google Sheets or Office 365.

Connections Overview

To access the module:

  1. Click the Modules Menu in the top-left corner of the app
  2. Select Connections from the list
  3. The module will open and display a list of existing connections

Add Connection

To add a new connection:

  1. Click the Plus icon in the toolbar
  2. Choose the type of connection you want to add from the popup

Add Salesforce Connection

Selecting Sfdc Connection opens the following dialog:

Add Google Connection

Selecting Google Connection opens this dialog:

Steps to complete:

  1. Enter a name for the connection
  2. Click Init OAuth to begin the OAuth flow
  3. Authenticate using your Google account
  4. Once approved, the dialog will show message OAuth approved. Click Save to save Connection details.
  5. Click Save to save the connection

Add Office 365 Connection

When you select the Office 365 Connection, it shows the following dialog.

Follow the same steps as the Google Connection setup.

Edit Connection

To update an existing connection:

  1. Click the Pencil icon in the Actions column of the Connections list
    • Alternatively, you can double-click on the connection in the list or right-click on the connection and select Edit
  2. The edit dialog appears based on the connection type
  3. If you want to re-init the OAuth, click on the Init OAuth button and follow the prompts
  4. Update the other details as needed
  5. Click Save to save the changes

Delete Connection

To delete a single connection:

  1. Click the Trash icon in the Actions column
    • Alternatively, right-click on the connection and select Delete
  2. Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears

To delete multiple connections:

  1. Select the connections in the list
  2. Right-click and choose Delete
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Bulk Update Connections

You can update Company and Environment properties of Connection in bulk. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Select the connections to update
  2. Right-click and choose Bulk Update -> <action>
  3. Enter the new value in the input dialog
  4. Click Ok
  5. The selected connections will be updated
