Metadata Type Groups

A Type Group is list of Metadata Types. Since org can have a lot of types, Use type groups to work with a smaller metadata types subset instead of all types.

App has some built-in groups include Code, Flow, Object, Agentforce, and Email. You can create your own Type Groups as well as shown below.

Managing Type Groups

As mentioned above, app comes with some built-in type groups but you can create your own. Clicking on the Wrench icon shows the Menu items.

Save as New Type Group

This saves the Types from current Package.xml and saves as a new Type Group.

Manage Type Groups

This opens a dialog which shows the available Type Groups. Click on the Plus to create new type group, Pencil icon to edit and Trash icon to delete.
