Install Desktop App on Mac
We support Apple Silicon (M-series) only. If you are using an Intel Mac, please try our Chrome/Edge extension instead.
Step 1: Download the App
Click here to download the app.
Step 2: Open the DMG
Double-click the Brobench.dmg file to open the installation dialog.
Step 3: Drag the App into the Applications Folder
Drag and drop Brobench.app into the Applications folder. Mac may take a moment to index the app and make it searchable from Launchpad.
Step 4: Open the App
Open Brobench from Launchpad or the Applications folder.
Step 5: Confirm Opening the App
The first time you open Brobench, Mac will ask you to confirm. Click Open. This prompt will not appear again on subsequent launches.
Step 6: Set Master Password
Set a Master Password when prompted. This is a new password you create specifically for Brobench — choose something you can remember but keep it unique to this app.
Step 7: Login / Register for Trial
Register for a free trial or sign in with an existing Datasert account that has a Brobench license.
Step 8: Add a Connection
Enter your Salesforce connection details. If you plan to import your Brobench config from a Remote Backup or a local export, click Skip.
Step 9: Open the Connection
Click on your connection to open it.
