Record Info Popup
The Record Info popup displays essential fields of a Salesforce record and providing quick actions. This feature helps you view important record information without having to open the full record detail page.
Any time you see a Record Id link, you can hover over it to open the Record Info popup.
Preview Fields
The popup displays the same Record Preview Fields that appear at the top of the Record details tab. These include:
- Record ID and Name
- Record Type (if applicable)
- Owner information
- Status indicators (Active/Inactive, Deleted, Archived)
- Audit information (Created/Modified dates and users)
- Object-specific fields (like Profile and Username for User records)
- Custom Preview Fields configured in the Record Preview Fields section
Quick Actions
The Record Info popup includes several action buttons:
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Add to Favorites | Star icon to add/remove the record from your favorites |
| Refresh | Reload the record information |
| Open in UI | Open the record in Salesforce UI |
| Login As | For User records, allows logging in as that user (if enabled) |
| More Actions | Additional record-specific actions |
Customization
You can customize which fields appear in the Record Info popup by configuring Record Preview Fields. Any changes to the preview fields configuration will apply to both the Record details tab and the Record Info popup.
